# Public demo - One year of Birmingham's Road Safety Emergency

On Friday 1st August 2025, Better Streets for Birmingham is marking the first anniversary of of the council declaring a city wide Road Safety Emergency with a demonstration infront of the council office.

Friday 1st August 2025 - Victoria Square, central Birmingham

5pm - Gather in Victoria Square  
5.30pm - Speech - Martin Price  
5.40pm - Two-minute silence  
5.45pm - Group photo  
6pm - If you have cycled into the city join us for the Circle City Cycle ride after.
