Report dangerous driving and parking to West Midlands Police on Operation Snap

You need to be able to see the full vehicle number plate in the footage.

Reportable driving offences include:

  • close passes
  • not stopping at a traffic light or pedestrian crossing
  • dangerous driving
  • using a mobile phone behind the wheel
  • making a banned turn

For red light jumping, you need to be able to see the white stop line and red lights from the driver’s perspective.

You can also report obstructive parking. This include parking:

  • on or next to zig zag markings
  • over dropped kerbs with tactile paving
  • in a place that forces a wheelchair user or double pram into the road

You cannot report parking on double yellow lines or inconsiderate parking.
